Greenhouses, Grins, and a lot of Drool

We are officially into the drool season over here.  Drool drool drool.  Gosh that boy is always dripping.  Good thing his good looks distract everyone from the waterfall running down his front.  He is chewing on his hands and anything else he can find.  Poor wee guy is pretty uncomfortable sometimes.

Taking a photo is way more challenging now that he wants to examine everything.

For Mother's Day, Spencer gave me a card he signed himself and a great photography book.

Spence has started to caterpillar himself across surfaces.  It's his new form of transportation.

Weeks 18, 19 and 20 zoomed by so fast.  It is very scary.  He is growing so quickly.

This photo cracks me up.  When Spence is very excited he makes a crazy face and squeals.  This is the face:

We baked some vegan zucchini muffins.  Spence helped for a little while.  Then he decided he would rather play in his jolly jumper.  He voiced this decision very loudly.

We went to the greenhouse with Daddy.  Spencer helped to pick out some flowers.  He was very gentle with them....much to my surprise.  If only he'd be so gentle with my hair.

Weeks 16 and 17

Spencer seems to have taken over this blog :)   Remember when we used to write about Korea, Australia, or the wild beast called a chipmunk?  Ha!  Now our world revolves around our cute wee boy.  We did however manage to sneak out on a real date!  We went to see The Full Monty, a play put on by our local community theatre starring a friend of ours.  Grandma and Grandpa babysat while we enjoyed a few hours spit-up free!  Woot woot!

During week 16, Spencer began to use his exersaucer.  He sometimes gets a bit frustrated that the toys don't come off.  He also got the cutest bear hat from his friend Melissa.  When I take him for a walk in that hat we always attract a crowd of kids who want to tell him he's cute.  I think it's giving him a big ego. When we pair it with the sunglasses he's just soooooo adorable.

Spencer also started using his Jolly Jumper more often during week 17.   It took a little getting used to, but eventually he got the hang of it.  It makes me laugh so hard I cry.  It is absolutely one of the funniest things I've seen.  Snoopy came over to visit him while he was in the Jolly Jumper.  Spencer is starting to notice animals now.  This was the first time he actually reached out to pet a dog.  Snoopy reached out right back :)

With the nicer weather, Spencer helped his Daddy to mow the lawn.  Brett loves to take Spencer out to garden or mow the lawn.   Spencer likes his bjorn now so it opens up a whole new bunch of activities we can do with him.  Spencer also started to use the regular seat on his stroller!  Gosh!  He's growing so fast!
