Our Beautiful Spencer

After a few confusing trips to the hospital, and a long day of labour and waiting we welcomed our adorable Spencer Evan Piggott into the world on Dec. 30. He was 7lbs 13 oz...a remarkably small size for my (Cindy's) family. We are completely in love with our little man.

Nine Months!

Can you believe it? Nine months already???? I am due in four weeks. FOUR WEEKS! Wow. We are going through a lot of different emotions. We are so excited to meet this little guy who keeps me awake all night with his dancing. I am also feeling a bit nervous......mostly about how big I'll (he'll) be by January first!! HA!!! Everything is going well. He's a healthy little guy and we know he'll be a great athlete by all the flips he can do already. Lets also hope he's a great sleeper. :) At our last appointment, the doctor talked about our birth plan and we saw a bit of the birthing ward of the hospital. It made it all real for me. Yup, this is really going to happen! Scary and oh so exciting !

A Walk in Sunnidale Park

On a sunny day......a month ago....we went for a walk in Sunnidale Park. Graeme and Margaret, that is the park we took you to on your first day here. The pictures are now a month old...but we seem to be always running behind with this blogging thing. :) We learned that a black shirt may not be the best thing for showing of my "bump"! Oh well. We'll know better for our next round. This week we had an ultra sound and ob appointment. Our little guy is now six pounds and doing well. He's upside down and ready to go! I still have a few weeks to go before my due date, but boy oh boy he's moving, dancing, kicking, and growing growing growing. If he's six pounds now....how big will he be in four weeks? :D

Hmmmm.....what happened to the time?

Well we seem to be a fair bit behind in this blogging thing. When school started, our world suddenly became quite full of work, work, work. Blah. But now things are looking up! I am off of work until Christmas of next year. It doesn't seem real to me yet. Anyhoooo back to the update. Our wee roo continues to grow and grow.....as do I...which I suppose makes sense. It is a bit concerning to watch my feet disappear, and I don't much like having to ask for help with lots of things (like putting on shoes, or carrying the laundry basket downstairs) but feeling the wee guy moving around in there is really cool. We can now watch him move from the outside. Looks a bit like a horror film where the alien springs out of it's host's belly. Our little man does not like the seat belt or any tight waistbands. He punches and punches them. He's got spirit already. I'm posting a few picks from when I was six months along. I am now seven and a half, and much larger than these pics. Will have to take some more and post them asap!

The Year of Big Events

Well this year has certainly been a big year for us. We bought a house, are "up the duff", and now we have another thing to add to the year of big events. Watch the video to find out what! (You will only hear music, you won't hear us talking...your computer isn't broken :) )
